Project 01_Task 02:: Reconstructions

Reconstruct the plan and section of the assigned building. Use digital means (Autocad, Rhino, or form•Z; and Adobe Illustrator for post-production) to properly indicate both overall configurations and layers of information to more clearly understand the particularities of the project. Line weights, line types, poché, and notations should be controlled and must read correctly. Drawings should be printed on 8.5”x11” or 11”x17” and plan and section must be same scale. Include graphic scale, north arrow, and notations.

Please consider these aspects when you conduct this task:

• Scale: What is the common scale for residential facility floor plan and sections? How do you find out the accurate measurements in your collected images from online sources/books/magazines?
• Floor plan: How to use line weights and line types? How to draw doors/windows/stairs?
• Section: What is section symbol? How to use line weights and line types in a section drawing?
