All the drawings need to be consistent in template, fonts, line weights and color palette.
1. Project Statement of Intent:
a. an 300 to 350 words essay, with three key words (8.5x11 paper)
b. a conceptual diagram that depict the design concept (8.5x11 paper)
2. Conceptual Diagrams
a. a bubble diagram (8.5x11 paper)
b. an analytic drawing of the four types of space in your building (based on floor plan at 1/16"=1'-0" scale, 8.5x11 or 11x17 paper)
c. solid vs. void diagram (2d or 3d, 8.5x11 paper)
d. reverse design (from the final design going back to how the instrument inspired you at the beginning, divide this process into 5 steps, 2d or 3d, 11x17 paper)
3. A site plan at 1/16"=1'-0" scale, including part of the surrounding buildings and streets (11x17 paper)
4. Floor plan at 1/8"=1'-0" scale (11x17 paper)
5. Longitudinal and transverse section drawings at 1/8"=1'-0" scale (11x17 paper separately)
6. Two isometric drawings, one is complete and another one is exploded (11x17 paper for each)
7. A physical model of the building itself at 1/8"=1'-0" scale, interior and exterior details need to be expressed. The main material should be white museum board.
